Razz is a type of stud poker comparable to seven-card stud. The only distinction is that razz is a low ball game as opposed to playing for the highest high hand, and the action is decided slightly differently.

How to Play Razz – Rules of the Game The Dealer Placement

Beginning a Hand

From here, each player has the option to retreat, call, or raise. The action continues to the left of the dealer button until all players have acted on the most recent wager or raise.

4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th Avenue

After all players have acted in the first round, the remaining players are each dealt a face-up fourth card, known as 4th street. Since there is no dealer button, the first player to act after everyone has received their fourth card is the player whose two face-up cards are the strongest.
